In new music I trust :-)

Good morning,

thought I try to make up with my lack of blog-entries during the last couple of month, by writing another one this morning:-)
However, it will only be a short one!

I have to introduce to you a (new) band I came across last week! They are a British Rock-Indie Band and their current album "El Camino" has been really successful last/this year!
Its........The Black Keys!!!

You should check them out if you like bands such as....The Maccabees, Noah and the Whale, Friendly Fires, Red Hot Chili Peppers...

Here's a link to their current song Gold on the ceiling!!!

A Trip to Bristol

Hey people!

sorry I havent written in such a long time! The old year went by so fast...I couldnt believe it! And it is already March 2012!
Right now, Im having semester break! But Im pretty busy with writing my final paper! Finding a topic, discussing it with my profs, and doing research!
Iam soon off to meet a friend, we wanna go to the movies and watch a French film, which is quite popular at the moment and promises to be a good one:-)

The most exciting thing happening in the next- lets say- month- will be my one week trip to Bristol!
My sister is doing her Master's degree there, and I will visit her to see what she is up to, meet her people and hopefully doing some nice things:-)
We will be in Cardiff on March 16, enjoying a The Maccabees concert (a British band)!
Also, I planned to do this stuff:

What I Want to Do While Visiting Bristol- A List
  • Going to Starbucks/ having a coffee at a local café/afternoon tea and scones
  • exploring the city and its little shops (e.g. clothes shops)
  • Shopping at Cabot Circus
  • Visiting Bristol Aquarium
  • Going to an Art Gallery: „Norman Parkinson: An Eye for Fashion“
  • see your university and class rooms
  • meet your friends
  • going to a pub
  • going to a club
  • (going to a concert or theater: they are showing “King Lear“ at the Tobacco Factory
  • have diner at a local restaurant, serving British food
(like the one we went to in Galway!)
  • going on a day- trip to Cardiff (discussable:-D)
  • going on another day-trip- not Cardiff:-D alternatives: Bath, cities near ocean...
  • going to the movies (its like a tradition already:-))
I will let you know which things we managed to do, as soon as Iam back!!!

Hope you are all doing great!!!
Talk to you soon!
