Fashion Tips for Fall 2011

Hey loves!

As summer finally comes to an end, we are all excited to see new trends for the upcoming fall season!
I have been searching the internet and local stores to get inspired, see all things offered and get to judge what I REALLY want:-D Well, there was a lot, as you would probably guess!!
So, this is my TOP TEN list:
(1) New brogues- so comfy to wear, stylish and yet matchable with nearly everything
(2) A blouse - modern and in a fresh color, put it in your pants or out; you can wear it to university or adding some extra accessories to make it a ready-to-go-to-a-club outfit:-D
(3) skinny pants-  I love those!!! The will make you look skinny - if they fit right - you can wear them each day, and they are perfect if you wear winter boots!!!!
(4) Long necklace- I really want one from Urban Outfitters- they have the cutest
(5) Ankle boots- check out Topshop's offers they are the best!
(6) Flowery dress - buy it in sale so its cheap + wear a cardigan if it gets chilly!
(7) Scarf- you never have enough of them:-D
(8) (midi) length skirt- only for the brave of you!
(9) knitted cardigan or pullover - nothing better than knitted clothes if its getting cold!
(10) Parka!- there is nothing better than investing in a parka

So, this is my top ten list for fall- hope you like it...theres still plenty of thing I havent bought yet:-D

A Day in the Life of.....a student!

Hey loves!

Its me again....so Iam really eager to write a lot on this blog- as you can see!
Today I decided to write about my life as a student. Its probably more time consuming than most people think.
Iam a English and German major, studying at the University of Tuebingen since 2007. So, Im in my 8th semester at the moment and there are four semester left for me. I want to become a teacher, willing to work abroad too. I love the English language, countries, and culture. I love the humour, the food, the music, and their fashion. In my opinion, the UK has one of the best shopping opportunities in the world. Even better than the US- apart from the pound and dollar relation. Just think about Next, River Island, Topshop, Primark, Accessories, Lipsy, Office and so on.....When I was there last year, me and my sister basically shopped a whole week:-D
Back to my student life.....
Well, I love my study and student life but what I really hate are writing term papers. This break I have to write two of them which basically puts me in a bad mood just thinking about it. Well I finished the first one already and did a lot for the second one...however I just want it to stop!!!
Do you know that feeling?

Well, theres nothing I can do about it, and I think instead of writing this blog I should continue with my German paper.....I think Ill do that now!!!
Ha....nobody should say students have nothing to do....or Ill kill that person- jk of course!

A Day in the Life of.....an Fashion Icon

Hey there!

Hope everyone is enjoying the last days of summer!

My newest blog entry titles a day in the life of an fashion icon. I think there are many great women out there who inspire me and you(?) every day. Not only in their way of dressing but also in other aspects. Since this is going to be about an fashion icon, I want to introduce to you MY fashion icon: its the beautiful Fearne Cotton - a fashion designer, Radio and TV host, and- in my opinion- most stylist person on the planet. Below, some pics of Ms Cotton to prove her fashionability!

A Day in the Life of.....Music!

Hey loves!

Just started this blog and Iam slowly finding out how this whole thing works!!!!But I promise, I'll do my best!
Just as a starter, I wanna share some new fav tunes of mine with you! There are many bands out there who deserve much more attention than they already do.....some of them being:
(1) Hard Fi- There Good For Nothing is probably one of the best summer songs out there. You really have to listen to this song turned up the max and in your car!
(2) Foster the People- This band from Cali has made one of the best albums this year and their song Pumped up Kicks has inspired Radio 1 host Greg James to create the Bum Dance:-D
(3) Cold War Kids- this band is awesome! Royal Blue is my fav song by them!!!
