UPDATE

Hey guys,
sorry for neglecting my blog for such a long time....the last days were pretty hectic as a lot of things were going on and needed to be done.
I finished correcting my second term paper- and I will sent it to my prof after I get back from holiday.
So, keep all of your fingers crossed that I pass all of my seminars from this semester!!!!

Then we were meeting some friends because all of the wanted to say goodbye to my sister who will stay in Bristol for one year to do her masters degree.
Also my mum celebrated her 50th birthday on Sunday and we went on a day trip to famous Schloss Neuschwanstein build by Bavarian King Ludwig II. It was a fabulous day only the bad weather kind of disturbed the celebration mood:-D We took a guided tour through the castle, drank coffee and ate cake and walked around the nice landscape. We drove home at 5pm because we wanted to eat dinner at a near by restaurant. All in all it was a nice day- without the rain it would have been even better!!!!

The last days we were also packing our stuff- especially my sister's clothes, books...- everything she needs for her stay! It made me realize that she is finally leaving. We will spend one week together until we leave her behind- it makes me soo sad to even think about it. But then on the other hand I know that we all grow up and that life is about experiencing new things and change! I KNOW she will have the best time of her life there and going there was the best decision she could have made!
Iam also looking forward spending my life alone, makes me be more grown up too and Iam beyond excited to have my first semester in Tuebingen living in my lovely own apartment!

Thats it for now- I will enjoy the last evening and tomorrow we are off (at 5.30 am!!!!) to England!!!
Talk to you soon!
Cheers
xoxo Anni

WEEK'S FASHION RANKING- BEST& WORST DRESSED

Hey everybody,

in my last posts I presented you some favorite lists of myself. I felt the need to tell you a little bit about myself, so you were able to get to know me a little bit better.
Furthermore, I think it is very interesting what people like and what they don't like. In my opinion you get to know a human being if you know about their favorites:-D

Iam a big fan of music, films, and FASHION and because this is, I decided to start a new category. Each week I want to give you my worst and best dressed list of the week. I will list 5 celebrities who made an impressive or unimpressive public appearance during the past week.
The major event of the week was the film festival in Venice and many celebrities showed up to present their latest movies or just themselves:-D Therefore, the people in this week's lists all made an appearance at the Venice Film Festival 2011!

Hope you like this new category and HERE we go............

WORST DRESSED LIST

(1) Evan Rachel Wood: I know a lot of people actually praised this dress, but I think it just does not look good. I do not like that it looks like a day-wear blouse and a skirt has been sewed at it randomly.

(2) Gywneth Paltrow: I like the color of the dress, but I do not like the siloutette. In my opinion it does not underline Gwyneth' top body! Also it is a little bit boring I think.......

(3) Kate Winslet: I do not think this dress comforts her curves..she looks bigger than she is in reality.

(4) Madonna: Do I really need to say more?

(5) Monica Belucci: I think she is a beautiful woman, one of the last screen-godessness!!! But this dress does not look right!

BEST DRESSED LIST

 (1) Andrea Riseborough: This is a real princess dress, nice color and I like that she is wearing her hair down as well.

(2) Diane Kruger: She is such a fashion icon, always looks gorgeous and this makes no exeption!

 (3) Keira Knightley: Oh I want to be like her! She is so pretty and this dress just looks fab on her!!!!
 (4) Vittoria Puccini: Italian actress who really knows how to look good:-D
(5) Marisa Tomei: I loved Marisa in Up in the air, I think she always looks so comfortable in what she is wearing and this dress is super nice. It is kind of a simple dress, however the pearl-necklace gives it an extra-detail. Nice choice!

What do you think of this week's best and worst dressed list? Any choices you do not agree on?

See you soon and take care!!!!!

TV Shows that I love to watch

Hey guy,

how are you doing loves?
Looking from outside, summer seems to be over finally- well its september already so I guess thats ok!!

The best thing about fall is the fact that all my favorite TV shows are starting with new seasons!!! So excited to watch them while being wrapped up in bed with a nice cup of coffee- nothing better on rainy days!
For that reason I decided to show you guys what my favorite shows are. What are your favorite shows? Anything you like to watch in particular?

Here is my list:

(1) Hawaii Five-0: This series is about a special group of police force operating in Hawaii. The plot is interestingly made and all the characters are great!
(2) 90210: Its a renewal of the popular show Beverly Hills 90210 from the 90s. I used to watch it back then, and I started to watch the new version. I love this California- feeling, where you actually are able to feel the sun on your face just by watching it.

(3) Celebrity Juice: This is a great British comdey show. Keith Lemon (host), Fearne Cotton (co-host) and Holly Willoughby (co-host) are starring in it. This is a great show, I always laugh my heart out- great British humour!!

(4) Gilmore Girls: This show is probably one of the ones which I watched most. I watched every episode at least 5 times and Iam still enjoying it!
(5) Gossip Girl: I started to watch this show before I went to the USA. There, I continued to watch it and still do. It tells stories in the lives of Upper East Side- people, especially focusing on a group of five young people: Serena (played by Blake Lively); Blair (Leighton Meeser), Nathan (Chase Crawford), Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Dan (Pen Badgley).

(6) Keeping up with the Kardashians: see what Khloé, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian are up to and get a glimpse into their lives!
(7) King of Queens: This is my most favorite show!!! I love it so much- every episode is just geniously funny! It is about Carrie and Dough Haffernan and Carrie's dad Arthur Spooner living their life in Queens.

(8) McLeods Daughters: Well, this is actually the only TV show produced in Australia I have ever watched. It tells the stories about Claire and Tess McLeod and their tough life on an Australian farm.

(9) Sex and the City: I don't think I have to explain THIS choice. NYC, sex, fashion, and four fabulous strong women!

 (10) The Mentalist: Last but not least this is also one of my favorite shows at the moment. I love the character Patrick Janes (starring Simon Barker) and the nice story lines. In times of CSI and crime series including a lot of exploding and shot gun blasts- this show is just refreshingly simple!

So, these are my most favorite TV shows right now!!!!!
Hope you enjoy watching them like I do and if you hadnt already I hope I could give you some inspiration!

See you soon!!!!

A Day in the life of Anni....VACATIONS

Hey loves,

so the past few days I was thinking a lot about my life and all the fabulous places I have already visited.
Iam feeling so blessed that I was able to see all these beautiful cities and countries, to experience different cultures and meet exciting people.
One of the best months in my life, was my term abroad in Arizona, USA. I was studying in Flagstaff at the local Northern Arizona University (NAU). While I was there, I saw a lot of the state (like Phoenix, Tuscon, Lake Powell in Utah, Grand Canyon, Painted Dessert...) and I travelled to Las Vegas and New York.
Also, once a year my family and I were on holiday and we went to: Ireland, Cornwall, Scotland, England, France, Italy. I cannot thank my parents enough for giving me the opportunity to travel to such stunning places.
In order for you to have a better understanding for what Iam talking about, here are some pictures!!! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Take care
xoxo Anni

A Great Day in Munich!

Hey there!

Hope all of you are doing great! I had the most amazing Saturday this weekend! My cousin lives in Munich with her boyfriend for a year now, and they just moved together in their own city-apartment.
So, we were planning on visiting her for weeks now and this weekend it finally happened. My sister, cousin and me were heading off to Munich at 8am on Saturday to have plenty of time in Munich because my sister and me wanted to drive home the same day while my cousin was sleeping over.
After a 2 hours and about 30 minutes we finally arrived at their apartment, had a first look and ate breakfast.
The four of us headed to Munich city center after breakfast and did some shopping- I wasnt really succesful but hey we werent there to shop anyway:-D We decided to have a Starbucks coffee and sit in one of the beautiful parks in Munich! When we are together we always have a great time: we laugh, talk about everything and time is just running if you are having a great time!
We decided to walk to the English Garden- a gorgeuous park with a small river called "Eisbach" in summer there are always a lot of people there, enjoying the sun and some quality time with friends. So, we sat in the sun, wearing sun glasses and watched those brave enough to actually swim in the river- it was really cold I have to tell you!
At 4pm it was time for lunch and we met with my cousin's boyfriend to find a nice restaurant.
The food was very delicious and at about 5pm we left it wanting to see one last place in Munich: Schloss Nymphenburg! I have never been there, but I always wanted to visit and I was so amazed it is so beautiful. The park of the castle is free for visitors, so we sat on a bench talked some more and watched people go by or jogging by:-D
At 7pm we went back to my cousin's apartment, drank something and then it was time for my sister and me to drive back home- a 2 and a half hour drive shouldnt be done that late!!! We wanted to stay save!
So, our day ended at 9.30pm when we arrived at home!
It was one of the best days in a long time and I enjoyed it so much. Especially because the weather was so good (sunshine the whole day with 30 degrees!), and we had so much fun!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Munich for letting us have such a super stay!!!!!

See you soon!
xoxo Anni
